Julian & Olivia Oxenberg

Here We Grow!!!!

Mommy's friend from work, Brooke, went to Amsterdam and brought us back rubber duckies. We're adding them to our collection of South African PUMA socks she already gave us. We're very international! We absolutely love the ducks, but have to keep them in the bathroom because Emma was ready to pounce.

Let the bagel tradition begin!
Olivia did her best to tame a bagel, not an easy task. Julian will be next.
Olivia enjoyed swiping her hand into the whipped cream cheese, delicious!
We had an excellent outing to visit with Eunice and Oscar, Olivia loved the view...
Olivia finally met the original Abba, she loved being walked around by her, on her tippy toes!!

Turns out our little girl likes to dance. Watch the video until the end. Sorry I turned it sideways for a bit...

We made our way from one end of Miami to the other this weekend. Lots of family to visit, some new places to explore, all while wearing our snazzy South African Puma socks! Olivia is seriously teething these days, the only thing that seems to help is our frozen family friendly chum bag, stuffed with something sweet. Who would have predicted dried apricots could hit THE spot so well?? Everyone is spending more time on their feet, they hardly enjoy sitting anymore. Oh yeah, Julian has begun to clap, it is a delight to see!

...we find ourselves secretly praying, under our breath, every time the babies pull themselves up to a standing position. "Please don't let them destroy our home. Please don't let them fall and hit their head. Please, please...." you get the idea... (should the order of that be reversed?)

Julian is well on his way to balancing in a standing position and Olivia is frustrated she can't walk yet. When left to their own devices, they end up under the dining room table - see below.

Rosita came by for a visit and Julian turned on the charm. He showed her the 3 new teeth he's getting - #'s 9, 10 and 11. Olivia has taken to giving herself oatmeal facials during meal times which often causes the addition of a bath to our daily routine - which she may have figured out because she LOVES a bath!

Grandma brought plastic Easter eggs over to play with but that didn't last too long because Lucy and Emma wanted to play too! We had to move them to the table but the girls would not give up. ...and the picture of Julian below...that's Easter cupcake frosting on his lip. The pointer-finger that he rules the world with took a swipe at Grandma's cupcake and went right to the mouth. YUM!

Mommy, Daddy and Karina have taken lots of great and funny pictures of us with their cell phones. Here are a couple examples...
