We're wobbly, but we're doing it! Julian and Olivia are sitting up on their own. Olivia seems to be a bit better at it so far but Julian is close behind. He just can't help rolling over all the time! As seen here, our weekly chair-picture/photo-session often turns ugly. We have also begun brushing our teeth. We're not quite sure what to think of that yet...
Feeding things by mouth is quite the event around here. Julian has a good grasp of the procedure, open mouth, insert spoon, etc. Olivia just thinks the whole event is fun and funny. Evidence.....
We turned 7 months on inauguration day.
Olivia will be sitting up on her own within days and Julian is ticklish!
On Sunday we had an outing to the fish shack and everyone had a great time! Julian was eyeing Aunt Jill's beer...
We're dealing with 9 teeth here in Oxenberg-Twins Central. Julian's 7th tooth has come in - on the bottom. Olivia's 2nd tooth has come in - it's also on the bottom. Watching Dr. J smile with his toothy grin makes all of our visitors laugh. He tested the water by biting his own arm this morning while he slept. He had 4 teeth marks for hours!
We are now taking our meals in high chairs. And we are becoming better at tag-teaming Lucy and Emma - as seen below...

We have moved into sippy cup land. Turns out these little people have a hankering to grab things, so why not lead them towards the land of refreshing beverage self service?? They almost get the concept, but it will take some more time for them to be masters. We have also assembled our high chairs. Sitting in a rubber thingy on the floor will no longer do, the dogs seemed too focused on baby food eating down there than Julian and Olivia themselves... We are also getting very close to sitting up unassisted, Olivia is doing her thing in a photo below.
January brings glorious weather to Miami and Olivia is taking full advantage of 75 degrees and sun today. Julian is learning about daddy's obsession - watches!! Everyone is happy and healthy as we start the new year. We wish all the same to our family and friends.
