Happy times and happy cool weather to pick a pumpkin. We weren't sure when we were going to make it to the patch, but we squeezed it in on a weekday afternoon.
The good news is our town recently opened it's very own pool and beach access. It is just a few short blocks from home...Julian and Olivia love it love it love it, gotta have MORE!!! On a separate note our bedtime routine has become quite the challenge. No matter how we try to preempt their needs and requests we still cannot seem to avoid a long drawn out nightly affair. And this too shall pass, right?
In the last couple months we have moved to a new home, begun sleeping in toddler beds, graduated from our first year of preschool, started going to the beach more and turned 3! Life is full and fun. We begin swimming lessons next weekend. Watch out fishes - if Julian can't catch you with a fishing pole, he may just dive in after you!!

We just love the iPhone Hipstamatic software that produces some of the very rich and interesting photos in this post. On a separate note we made it through the week off school with the kids during the holidays. Julian & Olivia took many field trips, and we all were reminded how great their usual school schedule is... These days Olivia is loving her hair in pigtails, tights, skirts, and the feel of the wind when in a car with the windows down. Julian runs like greased lightning and still enjoys his awesome and varied collection of tools (thanks to all family and friends contributing to his future handiness..), Buzz Lightyear, and most especially the Batman boots Grandy got him for the holidays. (he slept in them for a week)
