Another round of inoculations today, and another weigh in.... Julian clocked in at a firm and fit 18.10 lbs. Olivia tipped the scales at a healthy 14.14 lbs. All systems still go, another visit in 3 months. Julian is very sorry to learn tonight that Monday Night Football ends as the playoffs begin. He will be even more dismayed when he finds out that there is no NFL football after February for 6 months! 
The eating of cereals, fruits, and vegetables is now in high gear. The first few bites can go slowly but then we pick up speed and eat eat eat! We have attended several holiday gatherings and Julian and Olivia have come through with flying colors. Julian now has 5 teeth in, or on their way. Olivia turned onto her stomach in her crib tonight for the first time. Also, we are noticing Julian and Olivia paying more attention to each other, even seeming to communicate with physical actions and some vocal sounds.....
What an adventure this first six months has been! We have an ever expanding repertoire of things we do. We are now eating our first soft foods, we sleep through the night sometimes, we are both rolling over easily, we are learning to sit up with the help of our special seat, we blabber all day long, we laugh laugh laugh, and we are even starting to develop our sad lip expression. Come join us, the next six months will be even more interesting and fun....
Julian has definitely discovered his feet, they taste SO GOOD! Olivia may be getting a little tooth on bottom, more on that development soon... We got some cool weather gear, it is winter here people, Julian shows off his new hat. We decided to get one of those seats to teach how to sit, it is very interesting and seems to work. It even has a tray attachment that we will put to good use....
Stick your tongue out of your lips, close your lips slightly, and blow with GUSTO... So says Olivia. She does this, makes a juicy, funny noise, and then laughs. You must experience this in person, it is priceless! Julian has been working overtime in his Surfisde office (exersaucer), at Grandy's house. Many new and interesting challenges that his Bay Harbor office (exersaucer) does not offer.... For those keeping count our tiny man now has, count them... 2 teeth on the bottom, and now ONE ON TOP TOO! Unbelievable....
Joe visited from California this weekend and got quite a happy welcome from our little ones... Olivia continues to chatter away with anyone who will listen. Julian has two extra snazzy bottom teeth that come in handy for many things. Everyone is doing great and we are really starting to have some fun around the house with the noises, smiles, and 4 eyes following our every move!!
