Poolside cook outs, and kindergarden graduation parties, a festive holiday weekend indeed!! Julian and Olivia met lots of new people, and held their own, maybe even making a few new friends. (for the future...) With summer nearly here, we have taken to chanting "Rain, rain, go away...." at the windowsills, on our tippy toes... but the rain still comes....
The countdown is on. One year old is around the corner.
We are practicing wearing sunglasses, we took our 1st dual bath and we have mouths full of teeth. Oh, and Olivia is becoming quite the explorer - see last photo.

We upgraded to pull up swim diapers this weekend, and just in time! Julian and Olivia had a most excellent Sunday swim, and a great family weekend overall. The photos say everything! (PS Check out Olivia's new Havaiana flip flops, they will fit soon!)
And then we were swimming.... We thought the pool might still be too cold, but Julian and Olivia could just tell. Then we were in!! What a fun time we all had. We also hosted a visit with Laura from NY, with her kids. Her daughter Misha has irresistibly red hair, as you can see here. Next time you see Julian, hold out your index finger and see if he can touch his index finger tip to yours, we got it on a first try this Sunday. Man, is he good!!
Well, plastic, music playing, bilingual maracas seemed like a great idea...
Then our Julian got a hold of one and promptly clubbed his sweet sister Olivia. She has a bruise, and the offending blunt object has been retired for LIFE!! Another excellent family filled weekend, we even saw Merna at the Blue Marlin Fish House..
